The backstory
Drip began as a passion project I started back in 2022 well, a much simpler version that wasn't even called Drip yet. Originally named "Thousand Prompts," the aim was to combine journaling with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) principles, two concepts I was deeply fascinated by and genuinely believe can be beneficial to many. Initially, it was just a personal project to help myself grow, both mentally and in my career.
Fast forward to 2024, I decided to completely revisit the project, starting from scratch, abandoning the web version, and moving to mobile. With the recent advancements in AI, I realized it has many potential use cases, including mental health support. While I genuinely don't believe AI will replace in-person therapy, I do believe it can be a powerful tool to assist people with their mental well-being. This conviction led to the idea for Drip as it exists today.
Creating Drip has been an amazing journey so far. I love hearing stories about how Drip has helped people on their mental health journeys. It's still a passion project of mine, and I'm excited to see how far it can go. Thank you for being a part of Drip!
